I don't have permission to post his e-mails, but both his original question and his response to my answer seemed sincere and thoughtful (and quite funny in places). As to Rands -- yeah, he rocks. Even though I try to be a monotasker. I highly recommend his book, "Managing Humans" for anyone who, you know, does that. He seemed to take it to heart.
