I'm home after a hospital stay of 4 days with rhabdo. I've been told just to drink, drink, drink fluids. Does anyone know of anything else I could be doing?

I had a similiar case, except the doctors couldn't figure out the reason since I only did light exercises. I'm 15 and a guy btw and I went to the hospital with a ck level of 472,000. My parents drove me bcuz I felt like I was dying (until I slept in the ER) and the coke pee. I didn't have any sitffness, swelling, or pain. Like I felt fine the entire time I was there. My ck's dropped really quickly though. I was discharged with no kidney damage 4 days later! But I still have to see a kidney doc unfortunantely.

I am so glad you wrote about this experience. My son just came home from the hospital after a bout with rhabdomyolysis and alarmingly high CK levels. The doctors were stumped. He plays violin seriously and his bow arm swelled up after working out with weights. He's down to 9000 now and we hope dropping.
